Areas of interest: Italian Renaissance, Raphael and his workshop, drawings and prints.


Catherine Lammersen graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she received BAs in Art History and Political Science, both with departmental honors, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Her undergraduate thesis, “Luini and Leonardo: Stylistic Influences in Luini’s Madonna and Child," explored the relationship between Leonardo da Vinci and his contemporaries. Catherine has held positions in the curatorial departments at the Miami University Art Museum and the Morgan Library and Museum. She currently works with Old Masters at Christie's.
