Areas of interest: Dada and surrealism, the influence of Giorgio De Chirico on figurative painting, modern fashion photography.


Elmo Coleman is a MA student in the department of Art History at the Institute of Fine Arts, studying international pop art and curatorial practice. He graduated with a joint degree from the University of Glasgow and Christie's Education in History of Art and Art-World practice. His research interests include south east asian art with a focus on the relationship between travelling and visual representation in late early modern Japan, New York Dada and photography. He has held internships at the Venice Biennale and Staley Wise gallery.
