Areas of interest: Modern and Contemporary art, American art, British art, Italian art, Pop art, Asian Diasporic and Asian American art, Art of the 1960s-90s, Los Angeles architecture.

Kate (Katie) Perrin completed her B.A. in Art History and Italian language & literature at Kenyon College, graduating magna cum laude. She is particularly interested in 20th and 21st century painting, prints, and sculpture. Prior to her studies at the Institute of Fine Arts, she has worked in various roles in modern and contemporary galleries on the West and East Coast, most recently at Pace Gallery and Make Room Los Angeles. She is currently serving as a Special Events Assistant at the Institute of Fine Arts.
