Hee-Eun Kim is a curator based in New York, who has expertise in new media art. Hee-Eun worked as an assistant curator of LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art in collaboration with Fact in London in 2021, sponsored by LG, and a curator of ISEA2019 in Gwangju, and was a former curator of Art Center Nabi in Seoul. Since 2017, she has curated numerous media art exhibitions in Seoul, Korea. As a curator, Hee-Eun is interested in finding new materials to experiment with, combining new technologies as a medium to explore its majestic ways of artistic presentations. She has worked with numerous renowned media artists to collaborate on exclusive art commission projects. Hee-Eun has gained expertise in collaborative projects with various stakeholders and museum exhibitions.
