Areas of interest: 20th-Century Art in the United States and Post-War Art in Czechoslovakia.

As a second-year master's student, my focus is on twentieth-century art, particularly in the United States. Recently, my research has centered on the connections between American and Czechoslovakian art during the socialist era in Czechoslovakia, an area of scholarship that, as the IFA has shown me, remains relatively unexplored and merits further academic attention. My objective is to demonstrate the significance of Czechoslovakian art within a global context, highlighting its contribution to the broader discourse of art history.
