Masters program
Areas of interest: 19th Century European Art with themes of Feminism theories and questioning the representation of a contrived "ideal" body and how artists subverted this model.
Ceara Davis, with a small internship cohort, holistically curated an exhibition titled Carrying On to communicate acceptance and the journey of healing unique to everyone. As a preservation intern she collected, processed and contextualized historic data across the University of Virginia and the Albemarle community through the use of 3-D scanner technology. Davis researched and produced an informational virtual museum focus tour of Valentine Green's A Philosopher Shewing an Experiment on the Air Pump.
