Ciara Colgan is a MA student specializing in contemporary queer and feminist art. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego with a major in Art History and minors in Philosophy and Visual Arts. During her time at USD, she was awarded the Whitcomb-MacFarland travel fellowship which funded travel to New York and the Keck Undergraduate Humanities Research Fellowship which allowed for travel and research funding and resulted in a final project on Lee Krasner and how her life and work aligned with the Second Wave Feminist Movement in the United States. She has held positions at the University of San Diego Galleries, HereIn Journal, and Ethan Cohen Gallery.
