Claire Charvet

Areas of interest: Art archives and libraries, Modern & Contemporary art.

Claire Charvet is interested in performance and performativity in visual arts, especially in conjunction with dance. Prior to joining the Institute, she graduated with a B.A. in Art History and Psychology from NYU's College of Arts and Sciences. She is enrolled in NYU and Long Island University's dual MA / MLIS degree program, working to specialize in art archival work. Claire has formerly worked at AILEY, and now works for Kim Hastreiter, founder of PAPER Magazine, as well as the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
