Mojgan Aghaei Meybodi is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts, focusing on the history of architecture, material culture, and urban planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a Master of Arts in Iranian architectural studies from the University of Tehran, Iran. Before joining the Institute, she served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Science and Culture in Tehran and as an assistant editor in the Journal of Golestane Honar, quarterly on the history of Iranian art and architecture. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Mojgan’s research interests include modern architecture and urbanism within the framework of postcolonial and critical theories. She is the recipient of New York University's Urban Doctoral Fellowship in 2024.
