IFA Technology Services
IFA Technology Services is the Institute’s local technology support team.
Our primary job is service: helping students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars use technology effectively for teaching, research, presentations, and day-to-day work. We support IFA classrooms and shared technology, troubleshoot common problems, assist with events, and help connect our community with technology services across NYU.
Because we are based at the IFA, we understand our buildings, equipment, and the specialized needs of art historians and conservators. Some systems are managed by our team and others by NYU IT, but either way, we help you find a solution. You should not need to understand NYU’s technology org chart to know where to start.
Our team grew out of the former Digital Media/Computer Services department, with its strong background in imaging and technology-based scholarship. Today, that expertise remains part of a broader mission: supporting the overall technology experience of the IFA community.
