Malika Zayniddinova
Malika Zayniddinova is an independent art manager, curator, and research artist working across biennales, residencies, and public institutions on both international and local scales. She holds a Master’s degree in Art and Culture Management from Rome and engages in curatorial practice from research to execution, focusing on contemporary and site-responsive projects. She served as Project Manager of the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan at the 60th Venice Biennale (2024) and was a Stipendiatin of the Festival Academy at the 22nd International Schillertage in Mannheim (2023). Her projects include Tashkent Futures (2022), Dixit Algorizmi (2021), a fanzine for the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale (2021), and an exhibition at the Tashkent House of Photography (2019). Her recent work includes the Qizlar Collective’s Korea–Uzbekistan collaboration with He Ryung Lee, developing the performance Temporary Office (2025), reflecting on women’s labor, collective identity, and social roles. She is currently a Fellow of the Central Asian Cultural Leaders Programme, developing an online archive and research on contemporary art in Uzbekistan in the post-pandemic period.
