Alima Tokmergenova

Alima Tokmergenova is a researcher and co-founder of the Bishkek School of Contemporary Art (BiSCA) and SYNERGY art studio / Laboratoria CI. She leads the Department of Educational Programs and Cultural Communications at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev. Her practice spans artistic research, educational programs, art therapy, publishing (zines, books, catalogues), craftivism, and work with text, textiles, printmaking, and clay.
