Aleksei Rumyantsev
Aleksei Rumyantsev is an artist, art activist, and researcher who has participated in international contemporary art projects since 2006. His work spans video art, installation, public art, and new media, addressing social and political processes in Central Asia, public space transformation, self-censorship, and interpretations of national identity. He has served as art curator for the projects Green Journey, the eco-art laboratory Polygon, and the art activism project My Art Lab. He is also co-author of the projects ArtShanbe, ART BOOZ, and “Gender Inequality through the Lens of Contemporary Art”.
