On the occasion of the Fall 2026 Great Hall Exhibition, Tith Kanitha: ស្ដាប់មិនជាក់ កុំអាលញាក់ចិញ្ចើម Journey into Clarity, The Institute of Fine Arts is pleased to present a conversation between the artist, Tith Kanitha, and Sohrab Mohebbi, Director of SculptureCenter, New York.

Mohebbi was the Kathe and Jim Patrinos Curator of Is It Morning for You Yet? the 58th Carnegie International (2022), for which Tith was the first Cambodian artist included in the exhibition’s 126-year history. Tith and Mohebbi will introduce and contextualize Tith's practice, which moves across film, performance, sculpture, installation, and works on paper. The conversation will address specificities of site and questions of ecology amid shifting urban conditions; materiality as a way of holding time and history; and the organization of international exhibitions in relation to geopolitical strife.
