Masters program
Areas of interest: Modern and contemporary art with a special focus on Central - Eastern Europe; the interplay of architecture, urban planning and politics.
My current research focuses on curatorial strategies that examine the interrelationship between new media and modes of artistic practices, as well as changing institutional and exhibition forms, particularly in Eastern Europe. I have completed my MA in Cultural Studies (summa cum laude) at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2020, where my dissertation explored the disciplinary potential of residential architecture in the former Soviet states.
I have gathered work experience organising Latvia's participation at the 58th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, at Kim? Contemporary Art Centre in Riga, as well as Rupert artist residency in Vilnius.
